We are incredibly proud of this certification and, as such, we aim to inspire others to join the B Corp community too!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What exactly is a B Corp? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a B Corp, you become part of a global community of companies that aim not only for profit but also for social and environmental goals. B Corp organisations are committed to creating positive changes for our planet and the communities in which we operate. To be recognised as a B Corp, several factors are crucial:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Sustainability.<\/strong> Your company must be sustainable and strive for a positive impact on the environment. This includes reducing your ecological footprint, minimising waste, and using renewable energy sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Responsibility.<\/strong> Your company must advocate for social justice and the well-being of employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which it operates. This may involve fair labour practices, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and community engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transparency.<\/strong> Being sustainable isn&#8217;t enough; you must also be transparent about your finances, governance, environmental and social performance, as well as communicate your goals and progress in sustainability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Positive Impact.<\/strong> It&#8217;s also important that your company demonstrably has a positive impact on society and the environment. This can be measured through the B Impact Assessment, which evaluates various aspects of sustainability and social responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An economy that benefits the world<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:32% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cfp.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/B-Corp-impact-areas-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12004 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>To become a B Corp, you must meet rigorous standards in social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
